Founded in 1983, Hilltop Log & Timber Homes began as General Contractors building traditional homes in the southern Kennebec Valley region of Maine.

Hilltop Log & Timber Homes was founded by Dan and Cathy McKenna.
   
1985
Hilltop Log & Timber Homes was incorporated.
   
1986
The McKenna’s built their own log home on a hilltop in Randolph, Maine.
   
1987
Expanded Coast-to-Coast in the United States with the addition of a Western Regional Director and Model in Oregon.
   
1993
Relocated to Bowdoinham, Maine with a full Model Home Complex and new Manufacturing Facility
1996
Builds Representative Partnership in New York
   
2002
Builds Representative Partnerships in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania
   
2003
Builds additional Representative Partnership in Pennsylvania
   
2005
Builds Representative Partnership in Utah
   
2006
Achieves status as dedicated Pine Tree Zone, to create more quality jobs with employer tax incentives.
   
2007
Adds 2 new kilns and expands manufacturing facility.
